ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Artist Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all stages of the Music Studio’s artists' music release campaigns—from concept development to final release with excellent skills and understanding of music release schemes/cycles.
This position requires a blend of strategic marketing expertise and project management skills to ensure seamless execution at every phase: planning, pre-production, post-production, and distribution.
The Artist Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing both the creative and operational details to guarantee that every release is delivered on time and meets the highest standards.

We believe you have relevant education and approximately 5-7+ years of relevant work experience within Strategy, Marketing/Branding and Production/Project management. As a person you have an entrepreneurial drive and high level of both Creativity and Commercial acumen.

Artist Relation
- Leading the development of comprehensive marketing plans for music release campaigns. Collaborate closely with artists, creators, and A&R team to ensure alignment on campaign goals and creative vision.
- Ensuring expectations on campaign/production outcomes are realistic and in line with the scope.
Strategy and creative
- Provide strategic marketing advice to artists, supported by the Creative Director and/or A&R.
- Developing tailored marketing strategies for each campaign, ensuring alignment with both artist and business objectives.
- Strategically plan campaigns, recommending optimal timing for the launches.
- Planning and executing rollout strategies across artists' digital channels, with insights on the most effective content and marketing initiatives for each platform (pre-release, during, and post-release).
Project management, budget, agreements and planning
- Managing all stages of the music release process, including pre-production, production, and post-production, ensuring all timelines are met and resources are utilized efficiently.
- Handling operational project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, contract management, and administrative duties.
- Securing and signing necessary contracts, insurances, and permits related to campaign production.
- Monitoring streaming data via Spotify for Artists on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Ensuring every campaign production has a clear plan, including budget breakdowns, deliverable definitions, production timelines, and other logistics.
Collaboration and Communication
- Working collaboratively with the internal team to develop detailed marketing plans, manage distribution, and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and aligned throughout the campaign process.
- Fostering strong, seamless collaboration with our artists to achieve project and business goals.
- Maintaining daily communication with external stakeholders, such as labels, to keep them updated on artists and releases.
- Promoting proactive thinking and solution-oriented approaches within the team and among partners to achieve top performance on every project.
Relations and networking
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with external agencies, freelance creatives, distributors, and partner labels.
Production and activation
- Taking a hands-on approach in managing the distribution process, including coordination with distributors and partner labels. Ensure all administrative tasks are handled efficiently and releases meet the required specifications for quality and timing.
- Ensuring all production assets are properly organized and uploaded to Dropbox for easy access.
- Being on set to manage/leading the campaign activities e.g. music video productions or other.
- Being in charge of the cover production process.
Other
- Creating and presenting materials for external parties, including artist presentations, production briefs, and mood boards.
