This is an international role with broad commercial scope, covering approximately 30 established & developing markets outside the USA, managed through a distributor-led business model.

The Assignment
As International Sales Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for international sales & market management across SACHAJUAN’s non-US markets.
The role centers on actively managing markets through distributors, ensuring strong commercial performance, correct brand execution & scalable long-term growth.
You will work closely with the CEO & the Stockholm-based HQ team, contributing across sales, launches, brand execution & international market strategy.

Key Responsibilities
International Sales & Distributor Management
- Own & manage distributor partnerships across approximately 30 international markets
- Actively develop & prioritize markets based on performance, potential & strategic fit
- Drive sales performance, forecasting, pricing structures & volume development
- Evaluate, onboard & develop distributors aligned with SACHAJUAN’s brand & commercial ambitions
- Lead commercial negotiations & ongoing performance follow-ups
Go-to-Market & Launch Excellence
- Structure & execute international product & market launches
- Define clear launch frameworks including timelines, education, materials, KPIs & follow-up
- Ensure strong local execution while safeguarding global brand consistency
Brand, Product & Operational Understanding
- Work closely with brand management to ensure correct positioning across markets
- Develop a solid understanding of product development, formulation & production constraints
- Translate brand & product strategy into effective & commercially viable market execution
Performance Tracking & Market Feedback
- Monitor sell-in & sell-out performance & distributor execution quality
- Establish structured feedback loops from markets back to HQ
- Convert market insights into concrete commercial & operational actions
Collaboration & Representation
- Collaborate closely with the Stockholm-based international team
- Act as a commercial speaking partner to leadership
- Represent SACHAJUAN commercially across international partners & markets
Who We Are Looking For
- Several years of experience in international sales & distributor-led market management
- Background from professional haircare, beauty, or FMCG is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage multi-market, cross-regional portfolios
- Strong commercial mindset with a clear hands-on / doer mentality
- Comfortable working close to founders in an entrepreneurial, brand-driven environment
- Fluent, professional-level English is mandatory
- Additional European or Asian languages are a strong advantage
Engagement Model
This role is intended primarily as a consultant assignment.
- Candidates operating through their own company are strongly preferred
- If the selected candidate does not have an own company, APTA can support consultant employment via APTA, offered with a very low & fully transparent mark-up, if relevant
