Finding Top Talents with APTA's Effective Executive Search

Executive Search is a structured methodology for executive recruitment. It requires a broad knowledge of business and public sectors, combined with the ability to analyze an individual's skills and personality, to ensure high quality in management recruitment 

An executive search recruitment includes a number of different steps and is normally performed over 3-4 weeks. The assignment will be carried out in all parts with great respect for both candidates and the client throughout the process.

The steps involved in APTA’s Executive Search process is: Analysis - Search - Selection - Presentation - Follow-up

Analysis

APTA’s work begins with an analysis that includes a review of the organization, the situation where the organization is in, review of the role to be filled and determination of the ideal candidate profile.

APTA always strive and aim at working as close as possible together with the client when creating the job specification for the current position. The analysis is the basis for APTA’s further work. It is written and serves as a base for recruitment, as well as an agreement between the client and consultant. The analysis should also be part of the basis for disclosure to potential candidates .

APTA will also give advise on whether the client has realistic expectations, or if the best solution may be to find internally or through a reorganization.

Search

The analysis turns into a search phase to define in which industries and companies the final candidate can be found. After this transfer work via information providers and other sources of relevant sectors identify candidates who match the ideal candidate profile. Attractive candidates are contacted  for an initial telephone interview. This is in order to identify potential candidates via qualitative calls and finally actively approach the most suitable candidates.

Selection

After completing telephone interviews offered the most interesting candidates for a personal interview with the responsible APTA consultant. This is to go deeper into the current position and the requirements and to further analyze the candidate's suitability.

Sometimes, there is more than one meeting to ensure the right skills and to synchronize the expectations on both sides.

Presentation

After the interview phase, the responsible APTA consultant, selects the most suitable candidates in relation to the demand profile that was created during the feasibility study for presentation at the organization. The presentation is usually both written and verbal. In conjunction with the release supports APTA consultant active in both client and candidate to reach each other in a delicate part of the process. APTA assists with formal credentials of the candidate in the final phase.

Follow-up

The consultant at APTA keep in touch with both parties even after the candidate has started work and perform a follow-up after an appropriate period of time.
